I am going to make a video about "why tree topping hurts" for our local gov channel. If anyone knows of a good video explaining the damage created by topping please link me up. I would like to see what others have done. Thanks

This is a pecan that was topped about 15 years ago.
It took me 3 years to get the ends lightened up.
Now I just do a little thinning and occasional end weight reduction every year. The decay remains and I cringe for this tree every monsoon season. I also have a large Euc that I take care of that was cut in half a long time ago.
I climb alot slower in these trees. I hate topping!
