All Gear 16 Strand

Does anyone know the elongation specs for All Gear 16 strand 1/2" climbing lines? I'm looking for a 1/2" climbing line on the lower end of the stretch spectrum.

Dont waste your money. I was extremely disappointed with the NEOPRO... should be called NEO JUNK. Milks like crazy.... Hockles... Abrasion resistance is weak at best. If you want a 16 strand... Arbormaster all the way. I am currently using velocity and lava(tachyon) and found them to be fantastic.

I wouldn't say comparing Arbormaster to All Gear's 16 strand 1/2" climbing rope (called Pro-16) is a fair comparison.

Pro-16 is about 1/3 less expensive than Arbormaster.

It is what it is: an economy rope.

If you are looking for the absolute best rope product then, yeah, go with Arbormaster or NER's safety blue series.

I have to disagree with you dirtgood, I happen to swear by neopro right now. Did some time with tachyon, came back to neo and absolutely love it right now. Not trying to discredit your argument, just trying to point out that everyone's opinion will be different. What's right for one guy might be terrible for another. What's the saying, "One man's junk is another man's treasures"

Well I must have gotten a bad hank for rope. Maybe its simply you get what you pay for... it is a bargain rope. Maybe I should have expected less from it, but I am sticking with my comment on the abrasion resistance. I have treated it the same as all the other lines I have climbed on ( true blue, Arbormaster, tachyon, velocity, XTC) and in no way is the allgear in the same class as far as abrasion resitence goes.
