Ahlmann loaders

Has anyone used one of these machines or even heard of them. It is a telescopic swing loader. It looks useful for many applications in tree work. Add a grapple on it for feeding the chipper etc... The weight might be an issue but other than that it looks cool.

Haven't used one yet, but looks pretty cool. Could probably help a lot with some large pruning and/or removal operations.

The telescopic boom would be awesome, Did it say 7.2 tons?
14,000 #s ?!!! pretty heavy machine for residential tree work, if you don't need that crazy lift height and a smaller bank account

These are coming out in the summer, I am sure less money, lighter weight, and quality built by a 150 year old American Company

Innovative blending of technology. If the market is there a smaller scale version could be built.

Or someone with the mechanical aptitude could do a mashup of an articulated mover with a tele/rotating material handler.
