The first July 4th celebration was in the Moravian community of Wachovia near winston-salem nc. It was all about celebrating the peace following the revolutionary war.
The fireworks will be an echo of the past, when leftover explosives were blown up. We can all fight for freedom by defending the Bill of Rights.
