2004 Morbark Model 13 Chipper

Love me some Morbarks Craig! Their customer support is poop, but they rarely need repair. I've had 3 for 4 years. Between the 3 I've had (2) replaced batteries, 2 ignition switches and one feed wheel shaft. Not too shabby as far as I'm concerned!

Your absolutely right ! My model 13 is a tank, eats and eats trees, brush without complaining most days ! I change the oil flip blades, grease it etc... the usual but compared to my old Vermeer which broke down on a regular basis ! they are solid solid machines !

I'm looking at an 18 mr now. Also with a winch, less hours, and 3x the price. That 13 is tempting for the money. For me right now, waste wood is a hassle to get rid of so the 18 gets the nod.

I won't settle for anything else. I've worked with some crap before .... I'd rather hand pack and dice it up than buy something else. Bandits are ok when fresh. I had one that was a rattle can. Chitty, chitty, bang-bang. I was always waiting for parts to fly into the truck. MORBARK or none.
