See I've been trying to find a grapple saw one. Either they're ridiculously heavy or a couple million dollars, lol. A hoeflon c10 with a grapple saw head would be magnificent
I can't seem to hang on to chips. I get calls every week about giving chips away. Folks around here charge for them.
As for dumping on site, I tend to target places with easy dump spots. Time is money. I don't want to bugger around with getting stuck or moving chips by hand. We are mostly...
I've been hand filing them to dress them for years. Took time but like you said extends the life of them. A friend turned me on to those hand held jobbies (https://modernequipmentparts.com/500-0001-16-kit-knife-saver-complete/) and they seem to work fine. I figured even if it gets the bevelled...
Are there any licencing requirements to run this style of crane? I'm in love. Way more versatile than other options I've looked in to. It's a lot more compact than a Spyder crane. Pm'd you @oceans .
Wow that things is super compact. If it can fit more places but I lose a little reach I think I'd be okay with that. What a beast.

A few months into using these. I still really like them. I have big feet, so when I'm in winter boots my feet don't fit in the dual straps easily. Other than that they are wicked comfortable and intuitive. I don't have my feet falling asleep or any shin pain. I've worn them in my bogs (when I...
I wonder what licensing you need for one. They look the size of a spider lift. A little wider so won't fit in all backyards but damn. Put in on the back of an f550 and have two extremely capable setups.
Edit: 18k pounds is a bit heavy for an f550. But an f650 flat deck equipment hauler could.
Spyder crane is the brand I've found the most online. 81' based on this description.

Interesting. No idea. We were in a terrible time crunch when we bought the new chipper so I didn't pay much note. I only know it's got 4 because I run a knife saver daily.
I just bought a bvr 13. It's bad ass. The auto clutch it's so easy. It has the same engine as my other chipper, 4.3l gasser. Easy to dump the feed tray and check the knives. Mine has 4 knives, not sure where the 2 knives comes in. We feed it with the avant and have no complaints outside of the...
When you register for the class they send you a packet that has most things you need, as well as a supplemental list of books for it. You need to understand what the purpose of a CTSP is if you're getting it for your employer.
The purpose is to build the applicant into a trainer and motivated...
You're just a good guy to know then, and you're in Minnesota?? Gangster. We'll have to plan a meet up sometime!
I didn't think about reaching out to BM about demos. The bobcat dealer was on it with demos, paperwork, delivery, and anything related to service. With our timeline I figured go for...
We upgraded to ArboGold this year. It's a wonderful product with a ton of features, but some of the mobile app features are limited. I'm not the most tech savvy, so my wife is helping me implement the system.
One thing she mentioned is the app doesn't have the full management capability the...
