I have (3) 7015's, going to sell one
I never sold it. Too busy to even pull it out of the enclosed trailer to take pics and list it for sale. We got hit with a few storms back to back. Hope to list it for sale soon
What do you guys do? Switch from the grapple attachment to a bucket attachment on the loader? Shovel them into a bucket and load them into the truck? BMG scoops? Back a truck to the grindings and shovel into the truck?
What is the most efficient way to do it and why?
Haven't had any problems with new 2016 Freightliner M2's with Cummins. Just ordered another one at the end of December and it won't be finished up at the factory till March. I could have had one right away but custom orders take longer since these trucks being built are usually pre-built with a...
There has to be a reason. You say you were his top climber. What about the other aspects of being an employee?
i.e. showing up on time. Working well with others and having a good attitude with the crew. Treating customers and their property with respect (no cursing or throwing cigarette butts...
Deevo, if you still can get brand new tier 3 Bandit chippers and figure out a way to get them across the border we can become business partners. And no I'm not kidding, your investor is right here!
Yes the wide rollers, auto feed, winch and hydraulic discharge shoot, and some pressure gauges were the options we picked but weren't all must haves if we went with the 19xp. I believe the winch by itself pushes the 19 over 10k They didnt tell me exactly what each item weighed but I spoke to...
Coolant sensor. You can bypass this by running a jumper wire in the sensor located in the coolant tank. Do this as only a temporary fix as that sensor is a safe guard for motor failure.
You may be sucking coolant and have a blown head gasket
We decided against the 19xp and went with the 18xp with a gas motor. It was the only way we could spec the chipper with desired options to keep it under 10,000lbs. Should be here by end of Jan early Feb
Because the tier 4 final motors don't have the bugs worked out yet. Our in house mechanic does not know enough about tier 4 motors and would have to go to CAT to work on it. On the other hand, he could rebuild the whole motor if need be with local parts around the corner at NAPA.
If we could of...
We just placed an order an order on Monday for a new 18xp with gas motor. Went with a black chipper this time around. Should be finished up at the factory by the end of January early Feb.
I do know of a reasonably priced 2014 1590xp Tier 3 that has 1700 hrs on it. Was thinking of buying it...
I did it a few years back. Took me longer to install the lights then it would have to prune or remove the tree. Had it all installed. Stayed lit for under a minute and kept throwing the breaker. What a waste of time. I'm far from an electrician and even further from being a decorator. Ha. Never...
Considering the 18xp is the exact same chipper as the 19xp from beyond infeed rollers to motor i think the gas motor will do well. The 165 gm motor recovers nearly twice as fast as the 174 CAT Tier 3 diesel in one of our other chippers. The lower the HP the more times auto feed kicks in but...
Does anyone on here have a new Bandit 19xp? Or 19xpc? Not sure of the difference between the two. We are leaning towards the gas motor to avoid complications with DEF.
See here is the thing. One or more employees late or not showing up can cause 4 crews to be re-configured at 7:10am so they all will get through the day with proper staff. Better make some quick last minute decisions! Pulling one guy from this crew to jump on that crew for the day. Then once...
