    The GRCS is brand new never used, I unpacked it and put it into a Pelican case. I was thinking $2600 and I will throw in the case. I dont want to ship it though because it weighs a ton.

    I have climbing gear, new grcs, new echo pole saw, North Star 37 ton splitter not used that much, rigging stuff, a couple new isc blocks (3/4 and (5/8) a couple new ropes. And lots of used ropes and rigging stuff that I will probably hold on to because it's used. A Ford F-150, a and a sweet house.

    I would think in a violent fall you would want the attachment point in back of you letting your body fold forward. We should be prepared to be hanging a while by having a long webbing loop to step up on to while suspended.

    Wow... you are cheap. I have the number of a really great cobbler. Said no-one in the past 50 years Seriously, good luck. If a boot lasts me a year I am satisfied. If a boot doesnt last a year I change brands.

    I would cut the webbing at the trunk without cutting the tree. The tree should compartmentalize around it just fine. I have seen trees "swallow" much worse, lawnmowers, bicycles, chain etc.
