Can someone help me Id this tree? Beacuse It's causing problems in my pond
It could be some sort of nut tree. I know that if you throw a burlap bag full of black walnut fruit pods while they are still green, into a pond it will kill all the fish. What kind of trees are these?
I agree that the one touching the roof almost looks and sounds like a walnut tree. The other one can't really tell. But the bigger issue are the vines. That why you may think it has leaves like sumac. Because you have poison ivy covering those trees!!! You can see it growing up the trunks...- James Beede
