Here’s a few we have been called in to deal with. And yes, the little stub coming out of the ground was being used as a basal anchor. Somehow it held, even when the guy yanking the top off the tree pulled the climber out of the tree with the top.

Oh snap! This thread is gonna be like the film ‘High Fidelity’ when John Cusak, Jack Black and Todd Louiso were getting all elitist on a customer in the record store.

I’m gonna pull up a bucket of popcorn and reminisce about all the shit work I did in my first year of business. My removals were fine, but a lot of my pruning work left a bit to be desired.

It wasn’t until I connected with local arbs, joined the ISA and TCIA, and started cruising the Buzz (which I did for a while before joining and posting). I also began assembling quite a library on the subject.

Now I’m a straight up record store elitist!
 
That there is what ya call yer Progressive Lion tailing although it is sometimes done in one session, then it ain't progressive, it's just lion tailing.
