After all you said about credit and dough I'm surprised ..he musta hooked it up! Cmon man spill the beans what's the damage..I have a bad ass 01 bandit 200xp which I love but a winch does sound nice and mine does have some hours on it ..I'm putting a new top feel wheel motor on it tomorrow morning and that shit get the wheels turning.. Get it..
Carl makes things happen. Got a great deal on a 720. About the price of a decent used machine the same size.

The last 730 I sold went to a guy that was upgrading is 2006 200XP. Last I heard from him, he was tickled with it, especially its feeding power and chip size.

Yeah and I'm a share holder for major stocks from a fence company in coastal s.c. they say business is booming.. all they gotta do is follow little Tarzan and another company ...Logic something.. They said the name is or something Logic ....you ever hear of em.?Ooooo....i bet that made a heck of a racket. Good thing is, you probably had chainlink fence top rails laying around back at the yard. You know, from the last fence you had to repair. Ha ha

Guy feeding it took shrapnel to the upper right thigh ..actually it was the blade you see set on the chipper that got him. Hit him flat ways like a slap not on edge. Six inches to the left he might not have any kids or life for that matter if he would have took it to chest or face. He has a permanent hematoma i think where it hit him.. His skivvies were ruined ..as were mine cause the lid launched past me up in the tree. He ran off then fell down. That's really when I got scared. Sounded like a gosh damn bomb ..then the noise it kept making was near as bad until we shut it off. It kept spittin out nuts bolts blades for a bit .. It took major nerve to run over and hit the key. Wow.. I'm reliving it..I don't know if I can buy a terex now..

Wow man, that sounds like a scary scene. Did you determine that it was from improperly torqued blades? If so, was it a Terex issue, or the rental company's problem?

That's right, I had my dealers messed up. I was in Joisey the past three days looking at a new equipment line. When I heard the story from your cousin (the guy that was hurt) I did some checking on the Terex end to get their side of the events. They said it was on the dealer who had performed some work on the machine and failed to properly torque the knives.
Ironically the last 730 I sold (went to Sc) was owned by the factory, but was at that dealer's yard... Let's get you in a new 730 (not from their yard)!

I think something happened and knives need to be retorqued and didn't happen from rentals end. Terex issue in the fact that I don't care if you feed a steel rod through that bitch it shouldn't blow its top like that.. What I mean is that the disk house should be built stronger in my opinion. The forces were amazing.. The top flew no exaggeration 30 feet high and 15 feet to the left of what was left of the machine.Ha ha, of course I heard from them. A Lexus costs more than a Toyota, but is one more durable than the other?
I didn't realize that it was a 9" chipper that had that damage. I was thinking it was a 12" that sustained that damage. Yes, a Lexus is more durable. Do you own one?
