small chipper & dump trailer?

[ QUOTE ]
Top marks for Rayco 6 inch with 35 hp motor.Best 6 inch Ive used and could probably be towed by your mountain bike if you had a big breakfast.

I like mountain biking and I always eat a good breakfast ( mom always said to ) so I should look into this.

Those cab overs are basically what I have except I'm needing toolbox and dump box. The tip master looks really nice.

Does anyone have any resources for alluminum or steel tool boxes like those and or dump beds.

I'm having trouble finding tip masters.

We'll back back the chipper onto the truck bed and pull the wagon into the cargo trailer. The dump action doesn't get any easier than this.

Yep I give away wood whenever I can, find plenty of takers these days. Sometimes I will offer to loan/rent my splitter to customers to split bigger stuff. I have had people pay me to split their wood too. I have thought one of those low deck dump trailers with the platform on front for equipment hauling would be sweet. Put a small chipper on the platform chip in trailer or truck.use same trailer to haul mini skid and haul wood.

Re: small chipper & dump trailer?

For what I do your set up is really excellent. I see a real time savings for backyard work and tight access situations.
I would like to copy that set up as money allows. Only thing I would change I think is to haul the equipment in a large dump trailer.

Re: small chipper & dump trailer?

I did that as well. I had an 18 foot Big Lug dump trailer that was good for about 20 yards. It was a goose neck though which meant I couldn't haul anything on the truck bed. It was a bit of a pain to set up the ramps for loading and unloading, dangerous too, especially when it came to the loading the spiderlift.

The dump trailer sat a lot once I got the cargo trailer. Most times chips will stay on site or I'll hire a 20-40 yard roll off box.

Here's another way I haul chips.
