vinyl hose for macro injection systems

New Member
Has anyone had any experience using vinyl hose instead of polyethylene for macro injection systems? Specifically for oak wilt. From what I can find there doesn't seem to be any real benefit to use the polyethylene. Both are chemically resistant and such. Just wondering if there's something that I'm missing.

I think it's nice to use a clear hose so at the end of the treatment you can see the tree suck up the remainder of what is in the lines after you have turned off the pump. The only other thing I can think is to make sure the hose is pliable enough to get the ports on.
