the boys cut through the hinge... not enough pull to overcome the back weight... angled back cut shows they lacked understanding.

I looked at that and couldn't conclusively decide if there was no hinge or if it's merged into the shadow. Image enhancement? Also guy says pulling a cable but video shows a slack rope dangling. Maybe the pull rope broke? No mention of the pull vehicle going for a ride either.
