This is quite the list of accomplishments while enduring constant investigations, impeachment’s and media attacks. Thought some of you may be interested in reading this.

I am not a fan of any politician, in my mind they all serve themselves and not the public. It's strange to see people claiming Trump wants to divide the country but anyone who doesn't like him takes the same stance. Trump supporters versus us.

Financially life has been good the past 4 years. The local housing market has boomed and my family has lived well. If I have to deal with a clown on Twitter in the meantime why do I care.

I am interested to see where our tax rates go from here and how many of our civil liberties are infringed upon with this new administration.

The thread started with a list of things about a person, not an office. Take some time to contemplate the difference.

Thinking that anyone who criticizes the occupier is unpatriotic is not patriotic. There's plenty of good reasons that Freedom of Speech is in the First Amendment.

The heat in this forum does get hot. Be prepared.

Misinformation and partial truths and flatout alternate facts. Makes it sound as if Trump took an economy in ruins and turned it around into the best of all time. Not in line with facts or reality. Said trump built 400 miles of wall, doesnt say he promised a wall across the border that Mexico would pay for that didnt happen. Just 1 fact to point out from a quick scan of this list. And, pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"!
Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility and people are dying of a Chinese virus, but it is racist to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China.

Well we are about to have 10-12 million immigrants become citizens. Why? That's 10-12 million votes for democrats. Don't think it's because they want to help people. Staying in office keeps politicians in power and money. They will be the ruling class and we will be paying for it. Ask someone who immigrated to this country how they feel about people being granted amnesty without going through any of what they did.

Socialism has never worked anywhere but people seem to think it will be different for us and will vote for it short sightedly.

Let's jump right back into trade with China and continue to export money and our countries equity to them until we have no more faith from them and they literally own us. Funny, but didn't Trump just spend the last 4 years lying to America about anything and everything? Didn't he just spend the last few months lying about the outcome of the 2020 election, and wasn't he attempting the overthrown the results of our election by any means necessary, including a violent coup. All in an attempt to stay in power and continue his highly lucrative grift on the American taxpayer.

Strange that all those so-called socialist countries like Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands seem to always have the best quality of life,standard of living, and the happiest citizens.....

Do a little more research on all those countries. Having socialist tendencies doesn't make you socialist/communist.

To be clear I dont believe the US should have any socialist tendencies that come at the expense of the general public. An effective government should not need to victimize its people who work hard to support its health as a whole. I don't want to live in those countries and I don't believe this class of politicians has the right to change how our country has existed since its birth. Get your tinfoil hats on and start reading Orwell because it's all down hill once they do.

I call companies bringing manufacturing back from China to the US, because increased tariffs and reduced corporate taxes made it beneficial to do so, helping them. Granted it was not nearly enough but it happened.

I dont call increasing the corporate tax rate to drive manufacturing out of this country and taking away peoples way to support themselves benefiting them. Actually the opposite, it makes them reliant upon social services. Are they going to vote for someone who wants to take those services away from them? No, they will vote for those who enact legislation to benefit those who can't support themselves. I dont blame those people because it's not their fault the system is broken.

The more people have to worry about struggling to survive the less they care about other things. Its all about control and getting votes. The next step is to take away your second amendment right so there is no reason for the ruling class to fear the general population.

I’m just so utterly discouraged by the fact that no matter what I say I am ridiculed and called unintelligent for having a conservative viewpoint. I have such a high respect for all of you on here as you all have taught me so much about arboriculture. I am so grateful for the wisdom that you all so freely share. But why can’t a conservative have a voice? The entire mainstream media and now all mainstream social media is silencing any voice that doesn’t fit their agenda. They say they are “fact checking” and “removing hate speech” when in all actuality they’re just silencing one side, conservatives. And now, Tom Dunlop you are even silencing conservatives on this platform.

I don’t believe there’s any difference between the office of President and the person who sits in it. They are one and the same. You can’t talk about Donald Trump without talking about the President of the United States of America. I’m just so hurt by how you all have disrespected this office. I believe Donald Trump is one of the greatest conservative presidents that our country has ever had. You all think he’s horrible because you only listen to mainstream media which, again, is trying to silence conservatism. No man is perfect, and Trump has his flaws, but politically he has accomplished more for conservatives than both Bush’s combined.

I can guarantee you that I will respect President Biden even though I don’t agree with most of his policies and values. I will simply resign from political threads on here.

I want to say again, thank you all for your willingness to share your wisdom in arboriculture. This forum has been a truly invaluable resource for me as I continue to learn and grow as an arborist. Thank you all.
