Is anyone interested in putting together a Treebuzz Team? I'm going to be judging and Mark will be busy too but maybe I can squeak out of working at the Throwline to help.

Does that include a 'sponsered' ticket from the BUZZ sponsors for the beyond the pond living buzzers? /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think its more of an ISA Chapter event. You would need to be sponsored by the Netherlands ISA Chapter.

I could be wrong though.

Sorry Ron :( There's no sponsorship money in it this year. Maybe if we put together a winning team we can attract attention and go after sponsors for next year.

The teams don't need to be chapter sponsored as far as I know.

I would be on the BUZZ team, but I am already signed up for the Wisconsin Chapter. I was in it last year and had a blast.

Hey Buzzers,

Anyone can put a team together, preferably through a Chapter though. The RMC is to raise money for the TREE Fund so I'm thinking ISA is not that particular.

The fee is $100 to enter a team. You need 6 people.
The preliminary events are:
Chainsaw teardown, knot un-tying, skill exam, and crosscut. Then you have the relay. Think about it for next year.

BTW, Team New England won this year. :) Go NEC-ISA! Woooo-whooo!
Our team roster was:
Melissa Duffy
Bruce Duffy
Julie Coop
Ed Carpenter
Scott Knapp

See ya at the starting line in Minneapolis....

I know a treeguy that buys his rakes from sears, and when he wears em out he just gets another for free. It's supposedly lifetime guaranteed.
But I bet they don't know he's a pro.
