Side work is picking up to the point where I’m going to be needing insurance to be legit. I also want to look into basic costs for contract climbing liability insurance. Any thoughts on the best way to get a good deal on all of this?

You may want to do a search first for insurance underwriters binding commercial liability for tree services in your state, then go to the home pages of those companies and look for local agents. If you call two agents who bind for the same company, only the first one will likely return your call, as the inquiry will be flagged when the second agent looks for information to give you a quote.
