How many of y'all are on the pot

Been here much more than a while
Location
The ether
Ever since it's been approved here I've been using. Started at once in a while when I felt I needed to really loosen things up. The clarity I felt became addictive and I upped to use it daily, usually as part of my bedtime routine. Now, I'm hittin' 3-4 times a day. Morning, after work, and before bed.

Sometimes, on particularly rough mornings that are close by, I'll drive home to take a quick hit before going about my day. I just love the way it affects my mood and it makes the rest of the day more enjoyable.

I got my fiance to try it a couple of times. She wasn't really sure what she thought. But now I see the signs of her trying it without me around. I get it though. You don't want anybody to see you like that.

I know our industry is rampant with all sorts of different "practices", but you can't deny the proven positive medical aspects of that kind of system flush.

I think everyone in our industry should be a "pothead". Don't you? Who here has a neti pot too?

I have smoked daily for 17 of the last 19 years- took two years off for probation- and also start with a hippie speedball every morning. I don't 'need' it, but it feels more 'normal' when I smoke. I do struggle to eat enough at lunch if I don't smoke before work. I smoke at lunch occasionaly when I am pruning.

I am gonna try a netipot type device the next time my sinuses are clogged, which I just hope never happens.

I question being time-warp buzzed when operating a chainsaw but suspect the medicinal oriented CBD might be more ok. I abstain.
It's so interesting how different peoples experience of it can be. Like I said, I feel more normal when I consume THC than when I don't. I took a real, solid, two year break from it in '17 & '18, and I was really hoping that I would see some changes/improvements in things like my memory and sleep. After two years clean, I was very disappointed with the difference. Nothing changed except that I did develop the ability to eat enough food without it to stimulate appetite. But that was it. I was more anxious and high strung, and got frustrated more easily. This caused several problems for me at work. For me in particular, it seems to be a performance enchancing drug.

I have always smoked basically all day, every day, so that is just how I feel normal now. Similarly, I have been addicted to caffeine since age 5, and quitting, even after seven months, just sucked so hard, I decided it wasn't worth the stress.

Such a bullshit law. I had a buddy lose his cdl because he smoked a little weed one night when he didn't have to drive for two days. He showed up to work sober as can be, got randomly tested, and failed by the slimmest measurable margin.

Seems the satire of my post has been lost on some, including me :rayos:

What was originally intended as a question of whether other members here use nasal douching after a long day of inhaling dirt, dust, wood, and fumes, has instead turned into a discussion regarding cannabis use. Very appropriate considering I was baked out of my mind when I posted it.

Carry on answering how ever you feel most appropriate.

I opened this thinking it was asking who is on treebuzz while sitting on the toilet.

Deeply disappointed.
Isn't Buzz browsing while on the brown bowl the default for everyone? I know it is for me. In fact, that's where I am right now.

Safety third, amirite. I don't cut, drive, or climb while high. Although I probably could do the last one, recreationally, I'm paranoid about forgetting what I'm doing up there. No, about the heaviest piece of machinery I operate while buzzed is the microwave.

I was wondering, as the wording of the original had some specific wording and I re read it several times before answering. I thought the neti pot bit was the ruse! I guess I was too freshly baked.

I have had people ask if I am ok times that I had no weed yet that day. It does for me what ritalin and the like did, but with far more tolerable side effects. I have been doing it since just after puberty, and have no trouble with focus, memory, spatial reasoning. I definitely have a degree of chemical dependancy, but the withdrawl is very mild and only annoying for a couple of days. If I had seen any change in the relevant metrics, I likely would have just not gone back to smoking, and I generally do smoke less than before.

What blows my mind is the idea of irrigating the sinuses that frequently. Are you serious? I don't know enough about it, but while I know that it is safe enough to do, that sounds like a lot.

That's one reason I never got on the neti. Heard some infection horror stories!
Probably a bunch of lazies using regular tap water. That's how you get the brain eating bacteria. Gotta either buy distilled water or do what I do and boil your tap water first (and then let it cool, obviously).

My ENT recommended 6 times per day. I can't get up to that many, but 2-3 consistently. I've noticed a big difference, but I've had sinus issues most of my adult life. Even just seeing the dirty boogers that get flushed out at the end of every work day is enough to keep me doing it. So satisfying.

Interesting thread.
It has happened many times that I started my day feeling normal only to feel like I've catched a cold (running nose and so) whitin an hour after starting work. Not every day though. I still don't know what causes it, but maybe the use of a Neti pot can help me get rid of it.

The other pot I stay away from eventhough I live in the country famous for the legal use of pot.
