Ficus Fruit Eliminator

New Member
I'm a homeowner hoping someone on this forum can help with some ideas for our extremely messy ficus tree. We're at a point where we have to either remove our huge (and otherwise healthy) ficus, or find something to reduce the berry drop.

I'm hoping for advice on fruit eliminators/growth regulators, preferably soil drench or injectable products (sprays aren't practical with such a big tree). I know that opinions are mixed on how effective they are, but **anything** is better than the current situation. Even a small reduction in fruit could make a big difference.

I'm open to other solutions, too--so far regular trimming hasn't done much, but perhaps we didn't time it right.
