Once again this year we all at the GOTC (Global Organization of Tree Climbers) will be gathering September 20th to 24th (Friday to Tuesday) at a church camp just east of Tustin, Michigan. Great lodging, great people, good food and trees to climb, workshops and games to enjoy. Click here and all your questions will be answered, most all correctly.

Tree Climbers Rendezvous - Global Organization of Tree Climbers

The Tree Climbers Rendezvous is an international conference that traces its origins back to 1999. During several informal recreational tree climber

Since the majority of readers are already successful tree climbers I bet you have friends that would enjoy learning how from dedicated instructors and palling around with you in the canopy. Well wait no longer and have them enroll in our two day intensive class appropriately named Basic Tree Climbing Class. Details are in the attachment and I welcome comments and concerns so let me know your thoughts. To get started we need four students and well have a wait list if more than eight enroll.

Probably impossible to find a conflict free weekend.

I stay at that camp every February when I take a Boy Scout troop skiing at Caberfae. Nice camp, at least in the winter.

Anyone else going to the Rendezvous in Michigan this month? Looks like they extended the registration deadline for another week or so.

I might go Friday and Saturday. Have to work Sunday. Waiting to see weather forecast and what my kid has planned.

It looks like I won’t be there. Weird medical situation happening, I’ll be ok but recovery time takes me out of the Michigan Rendezvous mix. Sux. Life. It’s gonna be awesome, if I can somehow get there last minute I will.
