Beware of Raccoon feces

Active Member
I'm sure we've all worked in trees that raccoons frequent. I often see large redcedars with flat limbs and unions up a ways that the raccoons use as 'latrines.' It turns out that their feces very commonly contain a roundworm's eggs that can cause a fatal infection in humans with little for treatment options. So treat those turds with a high level of disgust.

Thanks; I'll be extra careful. Do you know the name of the parasite?
