Asking advice; seeking mentorship in the EU

Since I started in arboriculture 1,5 years ago, there is a lot to learn. I was hired as a trainee, but I feel a constant friction between learning on the job and performing the job delivering quality and being cost effective (aka work quickly enough). The last few months I have been thinking of ways to get better at my job and what ways would work for me. And I have this vision of focusing on one skill or subject at the time and learn it from the best.

Can you help me put this vision in to practice? Any tips on how I could bring this vision in to live? Are you or do you know someone within the EU, who would be a good teacher for a specific skill?
