Anyone Know What This Tree Is?

Hello!

Can anyone help me identify this tree? We bought a house in Idaho Falls, this tree is in the front yard, and the trunk has been cut off about 5 feet from the ground. Probably because it was growing into the pine tree next to it.

The first year we were here, it was very thin (should be the last pic) but has since filled out. It has flowered the past couple of years in the spring, but only a couple of branches of branches of flowers. It almost looks like a bush, but I don't know if that's because it was cut?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Nicki

Resembles Quince but the leaves don't have serrated margins like that. Is it either of these?

Quince (flowers look more like this one)
Cydonia oblonga

Chinese Quince
Chaenomeles sinensis
