This should work for most applications. (Slight chance it requires a CDL, pffff..) Recommend the heavy duty Alturnamats;)

Waiting for chainsaws or ass wipe.. This is why (well kinda more like how, but not why or what)

Tom, my undergrad degree is in economics. I’ve taken several macro classes. So I agree- what’s going on doesn’t seem mysterious at all. When you pay people to stay home, don’t act surprised when they do just that. Of course it’s a bit more complicated than that. And this is not to say the...

Waiting for chainsaws or ass wipe.. This is why (well kinda more like how, but not why or what)

It’s not that they have employees laid off, it’s that they can’t hire anyone to meet their increased demand. It’s not an economically smart decision for a truck driver to work 40 hours for $900 (for example) when he can still work 0 hours for $500 or $600. Whenever government fiddles with the...

Waiting for chainsaws or ass wipe.. This is why (well kinda more like how, but not why or what)

They are still paying people NOT to work. Unless and until that stops it will be almost impossible to find help, much less competent help. Even if you pay someone double what they get in unemployment many will still choose to stay home. And I can’t blame them.

Anyone with rage issues that can relate to this guy?

I’m betting it was one of two sentences that set him off.... 1. “Hey, since you’re up there already, could you just ___________.” 2. “I know this isn’t on the list, but could you _________.” Every man has his limits, amirite?

Question about wear n tear in stumper cutting wheel

It is wear and tear, but whether or not it’s normal depends on how many hours are on the machine. My guess is that it is normal. Notice how the more aggressive teeth have much more wear than the second and third pairs that follow. Those teeth take the brunt of the abuse and so does the wheel at...

    Cicada Brood X

Doing a few soil drenches today. Noticed what I thought were a bunch of plugs from lawn aeration. But then I wondered why all these plugs were in a mulched bed. As I got closer, I had a suspicion what they were. So I dug up a couple and sure enough.... Gonna be a loud summer. I know they’re...

It’s all good. That loss sucked, but if memory serves, the rest of the season worked out just fine;)

I must have been to the same game! November 19 of 2016 according to my phone. Miserable weather. Upper 30s with constant strong wind. We were in the absolute highest row of the stadium with Touchdown Jesus at our backs. Tix were free though, so no complaints.

Many people think the Pontiac Aztec is the ugliest vehicle produced in the last 40 years: I agreed with them until this morning when I saw this monstrosity on the highway: In all seriousness, that’s a pretty sweet rig. Here’s one I took of ND’s truck when I took my son to a game about 5 years...

    Covid Close To You

Not remotely political. I probably got my last mandatory vaccine when I was 10 years old. I haven’t had a flu vaccine in 15 years. Also haven’t had the flu in 15 years. Probably lucky, but I also work outside with a small group of guys and don’t have tons of other close contact outside of the...

    Covid Close To You

Not ashamed to admit that I am uneasy as well. My thinking is that normal FDA drug/vaccine approval takes literally years. These vaccines, while possibly miraculous, were developed and pushed into production in about eight or nine months. While they may be effective which is a great thing, they...

Is it OK to use a stump grinder to level the ground around a stump?

I don’t want to give away a trade secret, but this is one of our keys to success. Whenever we grind a stump, we also level the entire mound that surrounds it. We have found that people don’t simply want the stump gone, they want the whole area flat so they can re-plant grass seed typically...

Joe Biden is your last hope of surviving the virus? Goodness. It must be quite serious. Let’s see, as of today the virus has killed (checks notes.....) 3 one hundredths of one percent of the world’s population.( .03%). But you hold sacred science, history and logic, so obviously you already...

To be fair, population is a HUGE factor. In 1918 the US population was 103 million. In 2020 it was 330 million. Do the math. Of course the death toll was going to be proportionally higher. Also Rico, you really cannot have it both ways. You can’t whine about the economy while simultaneously...

    I strongly dislike politicians

If you force politicians to work at minimum wage expect it to jump to approximately $150 an hour within a week. It’d be a miracle of bipartisanship.

I like $2 bills. Thus far there is no connection between his death and the riot. He texted with his brother later that night and said he was in good shape. He later collapsed and his family was told he had a blood clot and may have had a stroke. He didn’t die until Jan. 7 at 9:30 pm. Let’s get...
