Tried CL no luck. Might b just too much trouble to find someone. Will try to keep it for another year Before the move then remove all the pimps n valve n let it go.
I restored one 98 model and now it's my work horse. Couldn't help and picked up this one couple years ago planning to do the same. never had the time and never will. already have a very nice lower hour 65 as backup chipper. going to take out all the useful parts and just haul it to the recycler...
I used to use my bucket maybe once a month the first 2 years I bought it. Now, I truly don't remember when I used it the last time. I have to run it every few weeks just to warm it up. I'll have to just sell it one day. one day if i can't climb anymore, i'll buy a track lift.
yes less gears, but way more intellectual, requires creative thinking and could be time consuming as well. The end result of two guys (not the same level) doing the same removal can hardly be much different. But, the end result of a full trim job will be very different. This is what I try to...
after over 15 years in business, I'm at the point that I can almost name my price (100% referrals). Obviously every tree is different. Let's say a typical mature pin oak in a subdivision, with 24-28" DBH, 25% facing house 20' from the house) in the front yard, branches overhang the roof by...
bought it brand new in April 2019. now the starter solenoid started sticking most of the times when cold start. took it apart, greased it, no help. want to buy a new one but try not to buy from Vermeer. no hits at all with google search. any idea why no one is selling that starter? Thx. Erwin
finally dragged myself to the shop and did first test run.
idle: engine 1450 rpm, disk 898 rpm
full open: 3900 did not dare to run too long
ran at 3600 rpm, disk 2085 rpm
might want to limit the governor setting to do 3600 rpm till I'm comfortable
pretty scary to watch the new engine runs the...
so, I can use one of the AJ wires from stator to work the auto feed.
three hanging wires:
white --- key on 12V
green --- the wire plugged in to the oil sentry terminal at the factory
yellow --- optional oil light wire that needs to connect to white wire
very fun, will post back once I tested...
no, that control panel came in separate and I have to mount it on the engine as show in your picture. it says the black ground wire goes to the oil switch, as I said, there is already a black wire connected to the oil switch. I either run it without a warning light (assuming it'll kill the...
1. the old bandit factory auto fed has a 4 wire plug, 2 goes to the disk cover safety switch, 2 goes to the engine harness. the big blue wire goes to the auto feed on/off switch then to a fuse and then to 12V +. The other one is small gauge white wire that goes to one of the outer legs of the...
received my brand new kohler 38 hp engine couple days ago. finished adapting to the chipper mechanically so far so good. Need engine wiring diagram to wire it to the old bandit auto feed system. I'll try to call Kohler, but feeling that it might b hard to get help from them. Also, might have to...
Yes and no. as you're probably aware, Bandit is still making 65 today and it comes with 38 HP Vanguard. So, a 23 hp engine on a machine that can handle 38 hp is underpowered by design.
