Oak you are a respected arb. Will never be a pissing anything. I had one hank from wespur of KM3max 2 of drenaline and the xstatic. I base all my fidings relative to my stable of 11.7s which is huge. I am only missing northern lights of never rans. Those tuefelberger ropes all acted weird and...
What was the yellow with red tracer one that came out before cherry bomb and blue craze. Rocket something. They fuzzed pretty bad and became fat. Made good lanyards and ring/rings in those days. But that is like 8 years ago.
Honestly if you are accustomed to static which Yales 11.7s really are you would see it. I could not believe the stretch when I canopied anchored at 90' and sat in the rope and started ascending. Boing boing. That was it for me. A really shitty rope that causes so much drag in a wrench. It is not...
Km3max is not static. It is biuncy. Weird ass rope. Xstatic is bouncy too. Weird ass rope. Vega and all yale 11.7s are pretty static but roll well on Ddrt.I do not get how people say km3max and xstatic are static ropes. Their covers fool folk I think.
Spot on. Yale 11.7s with it's poly/poly combo is perfection switching back and forth. Drenaline, km3max and xstatic were a disappointment. I stay away from atlantic braids for rope. Damn I have used so many ropes but Yale 11.7s smoke the pack for me. I am 99% SRT for over 8 years though.
Honestly Steve I always preferred the original tending spot. Never any drag. Just my preference. Quickie seemed big. Doubt that is your prob though. Have you checked how your spring is functioning.might be getting soft.
A parking brake.....oh please. Next thing we would want a hammock. Go climb the tree. I love one rope one device. Very freeing. People die in this industry because they make bad choices or become complacent or have poor training or lack of competency. Sad but factual.
