Where to store the mecanil saw while driving?

    Where are you treemek guys storing the grapple saw while driving? I seen the altec unit has a nice storage box under the bed which pulls out..

    That's what they want to do for mine, but I'm looking to install a dump bed real soon.

    look at @sjtreeguy set up. He had a box fabbed in the dump bed

    Upper corner of dump box, closer to the crane, or install a sun roof and ensure you always get to listen to your station...

    I think the altec model has a storage underneath the bed that pulls out. That would be awesome!

    Thats a damn big item to store underneath. I wouldn't have the ground clearance, The whole saw is about 4' tall

    Its hydraulic. Folds out/down from the side.

    Mine was included in the build. I believe Tiffin and Westminster provide those as a standard on the build specs

    Its the rack on the passenger side close to the kb; they also have an ad for the bs unit in there again too where you can see it.

    I don't have a problem with the price it's just I don't want to pay for something and then take it back out when I'm putting the dump bed In place of the flat deck
