HEY! HEY! HEY, LADIEEEEES!

Good Evening Ladies!
I was checking to see if any of us plan to compete in 2017. When, Where, etc.?!
PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!
I'm newer to climbing, got the awesome/spoiled opportunity to go to the KTCC this past fall and watch Boel H. rock through it all... I'm hoping I'll get to meet more tree climbing women this year. Will anyone be attending/volunteering at Geezers in FL later this month? I'm hoping to compete in Southern Chapter, Charlotte... and maybe volunteer up in Minnesota this year. Trying to link up and learn more :)

Just FYI
The Ontario chapter historically has reserved 10 of 30 spots for women.
After a certain cut-off, they open it up to anyone.
Krista Strating, Wenda Li, et al

I have volunteered for about 6 Ontario TCC's.
The Ontario spectators are the Best I've seen.
A VERY large number of spectators stay until the presentations are over ! ! !

Hahaha, and once again, Canada seems to do it better, eh!

(I'll be suggesting this to CAA if someone else doesn't beat me to it... I think spots could also be reserved for (inter)nationally ranked climbers as well to draw in greater competition and knowledge to share with err'one)

Nora Bryan, CAA TCC Chair last year, and I assume this year ? (supposed to be a 3 year tenure ?)
Tell her I said hello.

I plan on volunteering for CAA TCC again this year. I particularly enjoyed that one last year ! ! !
I had the most fun with the climbers & volunteers ever !

Did you ever tell Scotty O. I said hello ? ? ?

Jambo 3 had a number of women not on Tree Buzz:

Annalize Wright - from UK; Rep for TreeStuff, Pfanner, Husqvarna, et al
Marilou Dussault - Quebec, Canada; multi-winner of NAmTCC; multi-ITCC
Alli Kassel - Wisconsin; young, energetic, very good climber
Krista Strating - Ontario, Canada; multi-ITCC
Laura Mantin
Ellie Vosler - Ohio; 2 yr winner of OH TCC
et al

Jambo 3 had approx. 80 climbers ! ! !

Hey!

I'm also newer to climbing but I'm gonna participate for the first time on the Mexican TCC, March 3 & 4, Mexico City, with two other girls of 27 competitors. It's a shame that there is no more girls competing but at least we have a lot women volunteers.

I'm really nervous, so let's see how it goes. Wish us luck!

The thing is to have fun, meet and learn from Pele and share ideas and techniques that you use with others. Have fun and I'll expect a report back here afterwards.

On another note, I have not heard a word from Nora re charlotte.
