Squirrel Max climbers

I ordered a pair.

Will let you know soon enough. I have been on the hand me down Kleins for over 10 years.
Cadillac pads almost as old to.
New man struggled today in them for 4 hours or so.

I pulled the stainless steel sole plate out of a pair of old work snow boots and am thinking of adding it to the insole to dissipate some of pressure from the flat iron bar.

What do you think of that?

Back to Humber beechluvr?

I gotta say those spurs look more like a gimmick. But Rope tell us how ya like them. I prefer buck/Ti with soft wrap pads and metal insert. I use red wing boots with a steel shank and unless my bad knee is acting up I don't feel them. Very comfy. If I am standing in them for long periods I might incorporate a half inch piece of foam around my shin. Again just my $.02. Swing.

i cant find a pair of gaffs i like at all. gekos are the only ones i didnt send down after about 15 minutes. these look interesting & im looking forward to your review. great name to boot.

SWEET.
Sweeter than cadi and velcro pads. I will never wear a non swiveling pad again. The swivel pad works.
Standing on iron all day is still a pain but a good logger boot helps.
I'm also a convert to tree climbing spur length.
No more pole length spur for me.
Back to the iron. Durable, comfy everywhere no painful rubbing, adjust easily to any lenght,
They did us right with the swivel and comfy hard wearing foam.
Straps to secure are meant to be snug. If you over tighten they become uncomfortable
Hope this answers your question.

Check out the youtube.

Why is the swivel important?
Pad stays in place allowing your leg ankle foot to move and adjust to get or hold the spur in place. Makes gaffing safer and more comfortable. You can see the pad and iron in the pic close up.
