Some arborculture history

    today I cleaned out and sorted some file cabinets in my shop. While I was treasure hunting I found these

    The top picture is from the oldest Sherrill catalog that I have.

    The other is a pic of the first iteration of The Tree Climbers Companion. The TCC grew out of a Minnesota Society of Arboriculture training day. We broke up climbing into basic components and had 5 or 6 stations. After the training day Jeff decided to use it as anformat for training. We all know what's come of that!
