Spliced myself a rig n' wrench. Still needs heat shrink tubing added. Stitching is lock stitching and to hold the 2 sides of the endless loop together, not load bearing

@BEH2202; How long would you guess it took you to splice up those two eye to eyes? Thanks. Beautiful looking work, by the way.

I found 10mm op to splice nicely but the 8mm seemed to be a real pain. Nice job

My solution to my hate for stopper knots and my casual attitude for not using one on my lanyard

@CutHighnLetFly; Is that end just whipped, externally, or is it stitched together somehow? I couldn't get the larger photo to load on my handheld computer. Thanks. Beautiful splice work, by the way. Nice going.

At the end of my lanyard length I pulled about 8" or less of core put of the tail, cut it, fold up the rest, stitched up the sides, then whipped it. Then at some point added a random wrap at the bottom. Thanks for the compliment

But gained a comrade in fibers. Don't worry, Reed- instead of giving you money, I'll be asking for pointers. So much better, don't you think?
