I think it would be safe to say that there certainly are common preferences for those things. Probably even some uncommon ones too.

:)

What's that Oskar, A laplander? Drove one once and it stole my heart. A bit like the Land Rover Forward Control. 100% fun 0 miles/km's.

Ah Wolter,
we call the laplander "Volvo Valp", valp means puppy.
Probably not too bad for our line of work, with a
winch in front, but as you said they aren't that
good at moving forward.
Another nice Volvo is the "Volvo Sugga", sugga means
pig-mother.
For those of you who wonder what the heck we are talking
about I attached an image.
I drive a hmmm...Volvo 245. It works.
Regards / Oskar

ps. Is that a mini Cooper in your avatar Wolter ?

The first one is my Mini Moke, had that one for twelve years and was completely modified for circuit (sprint slalom) racing.
The second one is my Mini Racing Green, regerstred that one on the exaxt date of the Mini's 30 birthday. As a brand new car I took it apart completely, hacksawed off all the outher seams, welded the complete body together leaving a perfect, John Cooper eat your heart out, smooth car with a all wood interior that is put together with love.
The third car is Janet's (my girlfriend) Chelsea (stockstandard).
The fourth car is Janet's sister's white Mini E. The car is currently painted Old English White and is living with her in Helsingborg.

WOW, love that SUGGA. I know there must be a SUGGA here in the netherlands. it was for sale several times a few years ago. I wanted id but it seemed a hard car to get road legal here. I friend of mine is importing a lot of swedish volkswagen syncro (T3) vans. ecspecially those 16"rimmed ones with front/back wheelarche flares.
