Canker cure ala voting fraud?

When I was in FL I read an article in the paper about the "eradication" program. This all seems to be too much like trying to build another Maginot [sp?] Line like the French did after WWI to [try] to keep the German's out. Easy enough to go around the line with mobility. The FL virus, OW and EAB are pretty mobile. It seems like trying a scorched earth plan wouldn't work.

I can't get the link to work so I didn't read the article. Try using this program to make the url Tiny:

'tis a picky link - they want you to subscribe.

In short, Katherine Harris (aka Ms. G.O.P. denial vote tabulator) has joined the Hezbolla cult, bought some "holy water" rights in Jerusalem, packaged said water in laboratory bottles and patented the "mixture/formula" and pressured the State Dept. of Ag in Florida to promote this magic holy water for canker cure.

They felt pressured and also demanded some scientific data but she simply told them to "push it", "never mind about science", she ads, claiming "science has only kept God out of reality".

Ooooh kay.

How embarassing for the state researchers to even have to do the testing. This sounds like something that Carl Hiaasen should write about. OH, he has, in many different forms.

"The Sunshine State is a paradise of scandals teeming with drifters, deadbeats, and misfits drawn here by some dark primordial calling like demented trout. And you'd be surprised how many of them decide to run for public office."

What happens in Florida is a harbinger for what increasingly happens in the U.S.

Still has lot's of beauty though.
