    ‘Keeper’ lanyard adjuster

I can garauntee you it would cost you more than 100 in time and materials to make one yourself. Therefore its a bargain if you want one.

    Combining ropes in SRT

When I foot lock SRT. its usually a sit stand. I rest after every lock. Tend my hitch so there is no sit back. All legs. Sometimes if its a decent spurt ill tend and use my arms and not rest. But sit/stand gets it done. 2 or three locks covers quite a bit of distance.

    Combining ropes in SRT

I think vortex is good for ascenderless srt. It grips well so its good for good old school rope climbing. Footlocking. It's like a nice vine

    Combining ropes in SRT

I quite like vortex for srt. You can get a way with almost nothing for a hitch. The nice grab makes it great for pulling yourself around the tree. Heavy if your going through redirects or movie g your rope around a lot. Prefer a shorter hank when on removals.

    Lithium powered saws?

What are you using currently? Its a problem that I don't think has crossed my mind to much. I like the shembiner as well as Buckingham has a new saw hook that make for very easy one handed blind attachment and detachment. Its a solution of the saddle rather than the saw I think.

    Lithium powered saws?

The 150 is a small lightweight top handled pro saw. They have given me some problems based on sacrifices to lose weight. Great saw but The 2511 so far just seems much better built.

UK. Two ropes at all times(USA next?)

I agree with you for the most part, however, and this is Purely anecdotal and with no references... but if you were to ask me, the number one reason why people fall out of trees is they were unclipped for some reason. The majority of falls that I know about. Leaning back in a lanyard that...

How high can you throw ball?

Some people spend their days golfing or thinking about golf. I think I would enjoy golf. Never really had the opportunity to play. If I could get paid for it then it would be really appealing. Now there are other joys in life but many of them are much more complicated:

How high can you throw ball?

I would agree with that sentiment. That doesn’t mean I am not capable of getting joy out of other things. The fact that other people don’t find joy in it is Sad in my opinion. But as you said, to each their own.

How high can you throw ball?

Cormac Nagan and Jack Richardson are two of the best throwers I have ever known and were both star baseball players that could have played pro. I saw cormac hit a 60 foot shot overhand. Incredible athletes.

How high can you throw ball?

The spiderlift is noisy, and boring. It makes more money than I do with my throwline and footlocking though, so I don’t dislike it in that respect. Luckily, the spiderlift just allows us to get more work done so there are still plenty of crotches for me to throw at.

How high can you throw ball?

I can understand that you might disagree, but I don’t understand how it sounds sad. Purest joy and sad are opposites. As for gadgets, I bought a 72 foot spider lift for my treeservice which negates the need for throw balls and rope runners in pretty much most situations. I hate the...

    Lithium powered saws?

I am really waiting for the top handled battery saw from Stihl. Been waiting a long time. That echo 2511 is a great saw. Beats the pants off the stihl 150 as far as I can tell.

How high can you throw ball?

Same reason people spend hours at the shooting range or hours at the gym shooting freethrows or even hours throwing rocks at a can. But I get paid to do it! Missing can be frustrating, but that doesn’t happen too much anymore.

How high can you throw ball?

Throwing a throwbag is one of the purest joys my life has apart from my kids. I love it more than the actual climbing. You won't catch me using a gadget to set my liné unless its the sequoias or something.

    Lithium powered saws?

No that is not the 36 v. I think the one I tried has brushes it is pretty awkward looking. That looks better.
