Your cours of treatment is cayenne and compost tea? Are you serious?
I'm all for the go green/use less pesticides approach but these kind of clients want and need quick, effective results.
Do you need a cert. to apply chem. where you are?
I use what works. Soap and water works for spruce spider mite and dosen't kill fish/wildlife like some other products inadvertently do.
I don't have "high dollar" clients (or gnarly overhead) They have money I guess but I charge what it's worth to do the job.
But hey, I ride my bike to alot of jobs for fun so...
