Do you use a chain cover or protector on your climbing saw when you are in the canopy?

I’ll try to have my lanyards clipped to the left side as well. Not sure if it’ll work for me.

I’m used to carrying two wire ropes lanyard at all times. I might try replace at least one with regular rope. That will help since the wired lanyard is 75 bucks a piece.

I’m going to try this idea today. Cut out one side of the scabbard out just leaving the part covering the chain and the very end to hook to the nose of the train. Drain a small hole for a short bungee at the other end. Tie the other end of the bungee to the saw. Pretty sure it’ll work

Thx for all the comments. I’ll try to use the special cover once it arrives. But if I can’t stand it I know that I’m not alone n won’t feel too bad about it.

I never found the perfect solution so most of the time my chain is not covered. It occationally nick my rope, or my flip line. What works for you. I really want a solution. It hurts me to see a nick on my brand new flip lines. Thx. Erwin

    Sk 1550 price quote

I just bought a ctx100 a month ago, love it. It lifts 2000 lb easy. Now I added another 120 lb in the back and it’s even better. The reason I did that it’s because I’m only 5’7” n can use a 4-6” lift on the stand to see things well.

Arborwear like climb pants with knee pad inserts in place?

make sure you ask them to add a knee pad insert pockets to it. My opinion, if you want to sell any pants as climbing pants, THEY HAVE TO have knee pad pockets. add internal knee pad pockets on the canopy and modify the existing Kevlar knee reinforcement on the Ascender to accept standard sized...

Arborwear like climb pants with knee pad inserts in place?

Thx. That made me feel so good. ALSO, another biggie to me at least on the Ascender pants: 1. the large zippered left leg side pocket is very prone to snagging. . 2. the "ultility pocket" on the right leg (assuming it's for a wedge?) need to be a straight opening wit ha flap. My experience, most...

Arborwear like climb pants with knee pad inserts in place?

Couple comments on the canopy model after a week of wearing it in the office. The two front pockets r way too deep. Can be shortened by 1/3. The zippered right side pocket should b on the side, NOT on the front on top of ur leg (under the front pocket) when sitting down. What r they thinking?
